"In all likelihood they are sheets of High-R polyisocyanurate with a double foil facing to retard outgassing. In this application they are installed to reflect heat back out."

"  Thanks for posting this. Very Interesting, A large number of oil systems have test holes in flues already.  Yes, Theres been ongoing concern re air sealing and combustion safety by HES vendors.  WX audits dont require CAZ…"
