In this video Adam Stenftenagel of Sustainably Built, LLC discusses the concept of energy modeling, its usefulness in building code compliance, and a comparison of prescriptive vs. performance paths for energy compliance. He compares energy modeling software including REM/Rate, Energy Gauge, PHPP (Passiv Haus), and E-Quest for residential and commercial applications.
