Eric- I don't have my own rig and you are right, about half the time is setting it up and here in Michigan during the winter, waiting for the equipment to 'pre heat' (from 0 degrees) sometimes takes a while. A machine for MI is different than CA, we would need a $50,000 truck/ tanks, compressor and hoses

Comment by Jill Cliburn on February 10, 2012 at 11:00am Question! Do you think this same technique could be worth doing in a crawlspace, where the floors are already insulated to R-19 (also dry, cold climate, so inclined to stick with floor insulation rather than to make the crawl like a whole "semi-conditioned" space). One crawlspace wall is largely above grade, though, which seems to make it colder. Is it possible to do on that wall?
Comment by Eric Fulda on January 9, 2012 at 9:33am Good job on the video. Do you have your own spray rig, and how much does that kind of job cost. Seems like 50% or more of your time would be setting up and cleaning up. I'm in CA coastal area so we don't have very many basements, or large enough crawlspaces, so its tough to make this work economically. What kind of equipment / spray rig is best for these jobs? Thanks for sharing.
