New APT Reports Energy Audit Software Delivers for Home Performance Pros

Home Performance Contractors get a new professional standard for creating unique client reports and improving workflow in APT (Automated Performance Testing) Reports

CHICAGO, Aug. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- From the author of this spring's critically acclaimed Home Performance Diagnostics: the Guide to Advanced Testing comes another first for the building industry: a modular, fully customizable, and affordable home performance reporting software tool called APT Reports. This company has always stood behind their products and trainings with a money-back guarantee, so this new energy auditing software is worth investigating.

After handcrafting hundreds of reports for home performance analysis, Corbett Lunsford developed a system to greatly improve his own business efficiency and workflow, and his company is now making it publicly available. In the comparatively young industry of home performance contracting, profit margins are critical and time is money. With APT Reports, home performance professionals can provide their clients with high quality reports including: Air Leakage and Pressure Testing, Combustion and HVAC Analysis, Utility Bill Analysis, and Opportunities for Improvement.

APT Reports is automated with BPI (Building Performance Institute) and RESNET (Residential Energy Services Network) National Standards to reduce reporting workloads up to 75%. APT Reports is designed to break down complex home performance diagnostic data into clear and comprehensible findings for the client. Lunsford and his team at the Building Performance Workshop are serious about supporting building industry specialists, so every purchase includes over 2 hours of self-paced online training for the software tool. These first ten days of the software's launch include massive discounts and bonuses -- so act fast, these specials end on Wednesday, August 22nd.

Corbett, thank you for posting this intriguing article. These new APT reports sound like a great idea, and the fact that you developed this software is very impressive. Currently many replacement window companies utilize a computer simulation called RESFEN, which has been supported by the US Department of Energy. RESFEN has been providing the most accurate available estimates concerning home improvement energy savings. I was just wondering whether these new APT reports are more accurate than RESFEN reports, or if they are roughly equal? Have you had the opportunity to compare and contrast APT and RESFEN reports for a particular home to determine how similar (or different) the results turn out? Thanks again for posting information about this useful tool, and I also want to thank you for taking the time to create a great program like this in the first place. This is definitely a big step in the right direction, as we continue working towards the ultimate goal of improved energy efficiency worldwide!
