At this point, spillage, worst case & draft #'s were a moot issue. It was determined that the interior of the chimney this was venting to had collapsed, so no draft. With no nearby location to exit the structure via standard flue pipe, a decision was made to replace the induced draft natural gas unit with a condensing furnace. If the chimney wasn't blocked, that B-vent flue would have been repaired/replaced to remove the smaller diameter choke point.
