Q & A with A. Tamasin Sterner on her Women's Energy Auditing course in Montana

This is a great field for women. And there are far too few women in the industry. I want that to change.

In our Women's Energy Auditing course women will learn how to improve their health, the health of their family, and the health of others. They will be able to do this because they will learn skills needed to properly understand, avoid, and fix problems that make buildings fall apart, like moisture and mold, which causes health problems for many people...

We still have room for a few more women.  The location is a distraction-free enviroment.  This means REMOTE, quiet, beautiful, and peaceful.  The Pure Energy Center is a retreat-style place to learn an awesome way of making a living, and I really mean "a living".  Women who attend will learn how to fix their own houses so they are energy efficient, more comfortable, and, most important, a SAFE and HEALTHY place to live and grow.  Then, they can pass on what they learn to others.  For an example of what our course is like, read the Personal Story on our website, www.PureEnergyCoach.com.  Christine attended two courses and figured out why she and her family were sick so much.  She's pulled herself and her kids out of an unhealthy place into one where she and her family can heal and breathe safe air at home.  There is nothing like this work!

OK! Wow! What a fantastic learning environment! I'll be flying up from New Orleans. My step-daughter is flying in from Northern California. We are so excited. Girl power will ensue!

I'm really excited about doing this course.  We will be testing 5 different types of houses, including an old single wide, a modified double wide, a site built, a cabin, and an off-grid house.  We'll take our time and learn alot.  And, have fun!  Pass the word!

Hi Tamasin,

Although I won't be attending :), I think the approach is fantastic.  This is an extremely enjoyable field and anyone should be able to pick up the science.  My standard advice for anyone getting into Energy Auditing is to audit every home you can, starting with friends and relatives.  Move to seniors, military families deployed, and a long list of homes that would otherwise go without, free of course.  By the time you pass 50 homes headed to your first 100, consider it your internship, you will begin to feel the confidence needed to handle all situations, and there will be some strange ones.  And most importantly, your resume will be fantastic.  When that first "for pay" job comes along you will no longer be a newbie and it will show.

Good luck

Bud
