¿Qué es una bomba de calor?

Una Bomba de calor es, a grandes rasgos, una máquina que se basa en un ciclo de refrigeración reversible. Este tipo de equipos tienen dos partes fundamentales, el foco caliente y el foco frío. Cuando se aplica energía eléctrica al sistema, uno de los focos aumenta su temperatura (desprende energía) mientras que el otro la disminuye (absorbe energía).
