Wonky HVAC System

Yesterday I showed a home that was a complete remodel with added square footage.  The original house was 775 sq ft., stick built in 1946, with maybe a 6" crawl space.  The owner added 1000 sq ft to the main house and built a separate finished "workshop" on a separate HVAC system.  

Walking around the side of the house, I saw an HVAC system twice the normal width with a faded sticker.  It was a Goodman but that's all I could tell from the outside.  No idea how old it was but the…
