Insulating Blind

Bath room exhaust fan under tounge and groove floored attic. The attic floor cavities were insulated with cellulose and as a result the bath fan was plugged causing mildew to form in the bath room.

Dense Packed Ducts

Return ducts used floor/ceiling joist and balloon frame wall cavities for return air. Once the walls were insulated the furnace suffocated and pulled all return air from the basement. The worst case CAZ was -12.3pa causing the furnace to backdraft…
