We may not be Joe Lstiburek's (for which our families and fiends, unbeknownst to them, are mighty grateful), but we have a working knowledge of air and moisture movement, thermal and pressure boundaries, various Deltas (T, P, and the rest), and all that other stuff BPI made us learn. Hey, I'm still struggling with my crawl space stemwall efflorescence. Did you take the guy, Rich Cowperthwaite's PG&E crawl space class? His suggestions to me: French Drain, Structural Engineer, Reduce Landscape Irrig. & replace turf with native plants, Get rid of old crawl FAU & replace/w sealed combustion unit, Seal all crawl space vents & weather strip access -All good but I was hoping for something cheaper.
Suggestions?
