"The Stimulus money goes from 4/1/09 to 3/31/12, so lack of funds is not the issue.  The problem is hinted at in the above message - CAPs have had to ramp up.  The problem is that various states have had problems maintaining quality through…"

"Stimulus funds (via ARRA) given to the Weatherization program meant that every state had to ramp up production. CAP agencies had to double and triple the amount of homes to be weatherized. Funds end as of spring 2012 and many agencies are now having…"

"Interesting, do you know if they stopped the entire program or just your agency stopped contracting work?"

"This article gives some clues, maybe.  Note that stimulus money was instrumental and is nearly, if not, history."

I am a weatherization contractor in South Carolina. The agency that we are contracted through stopped giving us houses on February 11, 2011. They said that they were gonna be audited. Now its April. They had us sign a new contract but wont return any calls or emails. Today I spoke to someone in the Governor's office. He said it sounds like the program has been funded yet. Does anyone have any ideas, clues or suggestions?
