Massachusetts is supposed to adopt the 2012 IECC by July or August, 2013. When that occurs, ceiling insulation will go to 49, basement or crawl space walls will be at 15 continuous or 19 cavity, and blower door testing will be required. I have a client who is has a lovely house built in 2010 that has oak hardwood floors throughout. There are apparently no other moisture issues besides the hardwood flooring.
