Jeremy Draper & the Craiglist Adventure

RaterFest! has many traditions... Bon-fires, Rater Jams, Rater Olympics, Colorado Craft Beers...Perhaps one of the less well known, but dearly loved, is the tradition of Raters sharing stories about their own homes. This year we are excited to have Jeremy Draper, who will tell his unique story of building his first home using as much recycled or re-used materials as possible.  He is nothing short of a Craiglist master.  We'd love to tell you more, but we'd be stealing his thunder.  To hear the…See More

What Ballerinas and EPros Have in Common...

I'm pretty new to this whole industry... And by new I mean that the jumble of acronyms and terminology are still enough to leave me a bit dazed when some well meaning individual spurts off several in one sentence.  Home efficiency is not a field I ever could have imagined being involved in.  By training, I'm an a ballerina.  I've danced since I was three, trained in NYC, graduated from a conservatory... the works.
