For me, neither of these conjures up an image of true sustainability.
By virtue of being built unconsciously (or defiantly) in harm’s way, a building is not durable and thus not (in my book) sustainable. Similarly, a disaster-resilient building belching out greenhouse gases that any scientist worth their salt will tell you is contributing to present…

Hi Evan,
Thanks for kind wellcome , and I'm proud to be one of "long distance" fans of the site..
I hope learn intensively by reading the contents, despite here we meet a little other building tradition. materials etc. I am since 2 years in the energy matters (www.irvis.pl) , and it gets day by day more exciting for me !
So - thanks for great job, and - see you !
Thanks Evan
Yay. Australia is now 'on the map' as they say!
Murray
Thanks for the personal welcome note.
Would it be appropriate for me to call attention to your new website on my "energyfolks" email list (with about 3000 members)? If so, could you write a short paragraph that I could just paste into my next blurb?
