Thanks Diane, for the warm welcome. Right now plan on doing some searching and exploring of value added infrared home energy surveys to learn more of today's use and learn more about homeenergypros in the process.

Hey Just my thoughts on home energy. Alot of people want to create an house envelope that does not allow any air to get in or out. Sealed up tight as a drum. That is not the way to go in my humble experience. It depends way too much on mechanical refrigiration and not enough on passive heating and cooling. Check out Bio-memicary. I did not spell that right but it is the science of studying nature. look at a tree and how it works. Stand in the sun then stand under a tree. Look how the human body gets rid of heat. We have billions of pores that regulate our temperatures. Nature is the answer if we are to really become sustainable.

Thanks, Diane.

I've been working on a home energy management tool called Ohmconnect that coaches home owners on how to reduce and allows them to participate in demand response programs.

We just launched our beta; do you think your community's members would be interested in such a tool?
