Hello Corbett,
The typical model for whole house performance contracting in California places the owner of the General B Contractor license in charge of project management. Does your company, and are you aware of other smaller companies, use a model that places the energy auditor-rater in the project manager position, much like an interior decorator will sell the job and design benefits, get the job, and then sub-contract his/her preferred tradespeople to complete the work to the high level of standard they envision? I am interested to find successful examples of small sized (1 - 3) energy professional diagnosticians that have businesses that sell the assessment service and vision for improvements, and then hire and manage the entire whole house upgrade project.
