Conflict Resolution

I'm currently training in Washington, DC and one of the grants my organization has involves training individuals with non-violent criminal backgrounds recently released from incarceration in the trade of weatherization to put them back in the work force.  A handful of students over the classes have had a hard time working with the other students and I'm still trying to finesse my conflict resolution capacity.  I'm wondering what other trainers have done in similar situations?See More

Weatherization Assistance Program Training and Technical Assistance Provider

Originally started training how to conduct energy audits and perform hands-on weatherization for WAP agencies primarily in Virginia. After about a year we moved into conducting audits on Low-Rise and Mid-Rise Multifamily Housing including developing protocol and best practices for infiltration testing, zonal pressure diagnostics, visual inspections, HVAC diagnostics, CAZ testing, baseload measurements, and meeting ventilation standards. Also, developing protocol to provide quality assurance and final test-outs on low-rise/mid-rise multifamily housing.

Using proper building science to evoke energy efficient buildings is my primary focus but I am looking to move into installing renewable energy systems and continuing to refine low-rise/mid-rise energy audits, QA, and final test-outs.
