Nice of someone to put a ladder for access into this gaping chase that is wide open at the top inside of an attic.

Comment by Bob Blanchette on January 17, 2012 at 5:22pm I have a Kitchen pantry that is similar 8' ceiling in the pantry, 10' in kitchen. 2' drop from ceiling to ceiling. Why they didn't just put a 10' ceiling in the pantry baffles me, but at least they did insulate it.
Comment by Guy DuBois on January 17, 2012 at 5:00pm This should be titled "Climb down attic chase" This is looking down into the area from the attic. This is definitely a thermal bypass nightmare!
