Comment by Dennis Cheslik on September 10, 2012 at 12:24pm In response to your question, Bob: The picture is a bit misleading, there is a 12 inch gap between the AC unit and the screen. Plenty of space to keep the unit well ventilated. Also, the unit faces towards the west, and 90% of the time, here in texas, the wind blows from the south between the screen and the unit.
Comment by Bob Blanchette on September 9, 2012 at 6:27pm Does the screen cause any recirculation of condenser discharge air?
Comment by Tom Delconte on August 6, 2012 at 6:06am I like it. A lot of these 80's saving tricks have been forgotten due to excess complication, or an havc guy taking them down, but many are still viable today. It always helps you at parties, too, if people think you're a home energy, or even whiskey 'stilling eccentric!
