
The library of photos you are building is fabulous. A couple thoughts - most of which I'm sure you've already considered. 1. Ask (nicely) for better descriptions - cute is ok for a title, but clear explanations of what the photo is showing would go a long way towards helping everyone understand what they are looking at - even experienced pros have trouble viewing assemblies at weird angles. 2. Perhaps create a meta data form - (or create full content search on descriptions (see #1 above) that would help index the photos (e.g. Thermal images, bad connections, equipment, etc.) and make searching on them more appropriate. 3. Make it clear how people might be able to use the photos in their work - intellectual property rights.
