Does anyone have any input on what would be the best weatherization blow machine out there? I would like to have a machine that is primarily used for Retro fit walls and attic, but can also blow fiberglass. I have had PTO diven machines, independant motor machines, but never an electric. I would be interested in hearing feedback.

I primarily use the Krendl machines. The Krendl 500 works well for both dense pack and open blow. It also handles cellulose and fiberglass. I like the dual blower and the machine is fairly light so two man can move it. For larger high volume jobs you may want to spec out a Krendl 2000 or one of their larger machines. Go to J&R products (www.jrproductsinc.com) or www. krendlmachine.com for the specs.

Biggest problem that I've had with them is getting voltage drop through cords. Eliminated it by setting up a breaker box inside the truck and running a 10 guage cord to the home with adapters for dryer plug or to the panel.
