Hello All,

I'm curious about which software folks feel is most accurate in modeling multifamily buildings. Any suggestions? Pros, cons, etc.?

Thanks!

IIt appears that BayREN (San Francisco Bay area Regional Energy Network) is working with the developers at EnergySoft (Novato, CA - Energy Pro)  to  create a MF energy auditing component for use in their energy upgrade California program. It may utilize some high level filters to select certain building MF characteristics (vintage, structure type) that quickly loads parametrics to match.

The U.S. Department of Energy Weatherization Assistance Program has commissioned Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) to develop a new, fully-featured Multifamily Tool for Energy Auditing (MulTEA).
