Senior Project Manager - Performance Systems Development (Ithaca, NY)

Lead the implementation of software deployments for medium and large enterprise clients.  Work with multiple agencies and sources on the implementation of software and training for energy efficiency and home performance programs.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate client project priorities and software requirements to software development team.  Define, organize and manage the successful delivery of project plans as developed to client specifications.  Primary client liaison and customer advocate.

• Manage the sales fulfillment and installation support process for all PSD software products, i.e. Compass and TREAT.  Gather requirements, create and execute project plans, identify risks and mitigation strategies, respond to client inquiries, communicate feedback to team members, foster and improve vendor/client relations.

• Manage and track all aspects of workflow, shipping, frontline support, ongoing maintenance and renewal requirements for enterprise software solutions.

• Support Sales process by identifying opportunities to capitalize on up selling of products and services, referring those opportunities to the appropriate sales channel within the company.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years project management experience within the building/home contracting industry, the energy efficiency industry, or deployment of software solutions to large, complex, enterprise clients (ideal candidate will have 2 out of 3). Able to commit to up to 30% travel.  Strong attention to detail, analytical, communication and presentation skills required. Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel Access, PowerPoint and Outlook, or similar product.  Familiar with energy simulation tools and software for use in single, multifamily and commercial application.

Preferred:

Advanced degree and 10+ years experience in software development and deployment at the national level.  Demonstrated success with the building retrofit industry and software contractual management.  PMP Certification a definite plus.
