Green Dream Group, a Chicago-based home performance company, is seeking a Senior Building Analyst for its Chicago Home Performance division. Chicago Home Performance works with homeowners, local government, weatherization agencies, and building performance professionals to improve the comfort, durability and energy efficiency of their homes and workplaces.

 

The Senior Building Analyst will lead our existing home audit services, including conducting Comprehensive Home Energy Audits per BPI and RESNET standards, generating reports, and providing technical support for clients. Additional opportunities may include assisting with BPI trainings in our Building Performance Workshop, performing new construction HERS ratings, and providing technical/marketing assistance for the company.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BPI Building Analyst
  • RESNET HERS Rater
  • Thorough understanding of building science, and the tools of the trade (blower door, duct blaster, manometer, combustion analyzer, etc)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Overall friendly disposition

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • BPI EP/HP/AC/MF
  • RESNET QAD/trainer
  • Training/proctoring experience
  • LEED for Homes Green Rater / NAHB Green Verifier
  • eQUEST / CAD experience

 

 

Must live in or near Chicago, IL, or be willing to relocate. Relocation cost will not be provided.

 

Compensation commensurate with experience.
