Though it pertains more to the commercial than residential sector, I thought some folks might be interested in reading this item on the recent Building Energy Rating Summit convened by the Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP):

It's good to see that participants comprised a broad range of stakeholders including real estate practitioners and realty trusts, engineers, utility representatives, state agencies, and manufacturers.
