Facebook has recently changed the settings for Facebook pages, and, as a result, only 10% of the subscribers receive the updates on their wall. To keep on RECEIVING THE POSTS from your favorite page(s) on your wall, please follow these instructions:

1. Open the Page
2. Move the mouse near the "Like" button (which has already been liked if you're following the page.)
3. From the drop down menu click on 'Add to Interests List'. You may also check 'Show in News Feed'.

By doing this, you will keep on reading the posts on your wall.

Hi Ron,

Yes you have to visit each page and "like" it. Home Energy Saver & Home Energy Saver Pro both like your page!

Thanks,

Diane

How do I find the Facebook pages for the 80 other members of this group? Do I have to visit each member's profile, or is there a convenient list I haven't found? I would like to visit each page to "like" and/or "Friend" so we can see each others updates, and comment as appropriate.  Hope you'll take the time to visit mine:

CSG has had success on Facebook by posting stories that are helpful to our audience (as opposed to just posting business updates).  Try asking people to comment or like your posts to increase interactions.

Timing is important too; you can use the clock icon  below your post to schedule it to go out at a time when you think people in your audience will be online, such as lunchtime.  Experiment with times to see what works best.

To generate ideas for content, follow other relevant companies and trade groups, and set up iGoogle to see news feeds related to our industry. Hope this helps!

Putting this out to the group - anyone interested in attending a panel discussion "Value of Green" re the Green & Energy Efficient Addendum introduced by the Appraisal Institute (6/11)?  Our panel consists of CR Herro, Meritage Homes (and incoming EEBA Board President; James Ball, Energy Inspectors; Sandra Adomatis, co-creator of the Addendum; Marlo Newman, Starboard Financial; and me!  James and I are USGBC volunteers with the Residential Green Building Committee. Free to attend: http://www.usgbcaz.org/calendar?eventId=555604&EventViewMode=2&...

Hi Jeremy, Why not start a discussion in the Social Media and Energy Efficiency group? I'd be happy to participate!

This is great!  I am enjoying looking at your FB pages.  I know this isn't a marketing website, but perhaps some future discussion on how to reach people and how to figure out what to post is in order?
