Complete with creative venting... but no worries  its outside.

PTV has been routed such that it will be difficult for mice -- and homeowners to follow its path....

Natural gas line is safely protected by a well designed and maintained deck.  No need to worry about failures from seismic events or those wild parties.

And the owner wisely chose not to use duct tape to "secure" the insulation blanket to the heater.  They were able to upgrade the method to secure the insulation, by not insulating the outdoor hot or cold water lines; they were able to buy more rope to wrap around the insulation blanket.

"Creative Venting"  - I might have to steal that phrase for my next inspection ;)

But it's OK 'cause they put that roof over it.

Actually I'm also fascinated by that drain system.

You should make this a contest; find the most dumb, dangerous or just plain illegal items in this picture.
