I found all of these issues in the same 1985 home.

 

Obvious use of 1 drill bit per circuit by the electrical contractor.

 

This duct was disconnected at the bathroom exhaust fan.  Also disconnected at the other end.

 

The garage wall was never taped with mud.  Now 25 years later, multiple holes in addition to the joints.

 

The insulation spill results in an insulated ceiling in the garage. The IR shows the heat loss due to the lowered R-Value in the corner where the insulation is missing.

 

This window is in an unfinished store room. The HO complains of all windows in the home being cold. Window problem or insulation problem.

 

The cantilever and rim joist were insulated with one piece of R-9 insulation. So you have no air barrier with continuous insulation contact. At least it is open and can be economically corrected.
