Has anyone been able to find a person at BIG, the new administrater of EUC who can answer questions about the program? I finally got a call back from a staffer there who said she'd try to find someone to help me. The lack of staff knowledgable about, and in charge of the program was really disconcerting.

Does anyone know the people at the CEC running this program? They seem really invisible in this whole process.

I just read Pat's blog and, as always, appreciate her insight. I've put the whole thing on the back burner for now. I think the only players not benefitting from the program are homeowners and contractors.

I particularly liked her comment that she hopes they can figure it out before the money is gone. I've been wondering that myself. The longer this thing drags on the less money will be available, and more barriers will be instituted.

Who is running the program now?

When will the CEC OK Recurve software?

Any members of this Group can start discussion topics.  I'd be interested in topics related to your experience or questions regarding:

  • program planning and marketing
  • local rebates, incentives and other financing
  • furthering dialogue and cooperation between contractors and auditors
  • other topics based on your experience in the program.

Roving Home Energy stringer Pat Colburn posted a report on a EUCA update at a recent Efficiency First SF Bay Area chapter meeting.  You can read her notes and impressions here: http://www.homeenergy.org/blog.php?id=133.

Any reports from SoCal?

I should add that I'm not representing or working for the EUCA program.  I'm only working in my role as a co-publisher on HE Pros to facilitate discussion.  I hope that EUCA staff members or subcontracting agencies will check in from time to time to answer questions.  You'll also find EUCA discussions on Engage360.com.
