Hi Daryl,

Welcome to the group!  You can start by going to the www.energyupgradeca.org website and shooting an email to various participating contractors.  Another option is to work with a general contractor;  with you on staff as BPI, that GC can then apply to be on the web portal as a participating contractor.

Hello All

I recently received my BPI Building Analyst certification and I am interested in working for a participating contractor in Energy Upgrade California.  I live in Carson, CA

How to Win the Job Without Leaving Your Profits on the Table, a Re-Visit of our June 2nd Webinar

Thursday, August 4, 2011 11:00am-12:30pm Pacific (2:00-3:30pm Eastern)

*This is a re-visit of our June 2nd Webinar, which had some technical issues.

Learn about the importance of cost estimating and kitchen table sale close strategies. You will leave this session with an improved understanding of contracting business management and the practical knowledge to improve your company's profitability.

Perhaps the three most important systems in your business for generating cash flow are; marketing, estimating and sales. Without marketing a terrible thing happens: no sales. Without sales a terrible thing happens: nothing. Estimating can be the bottleneck between the two. Understanding how to drive these systems easily and accurately can help you nail down the profits that otherwise might slip away.

Hi Mike.

I would recommend

Daniil Poddyachiy - MONOLIT BUILDERS in Roseville.

Daniil himself is in Sacramento but he has supervised jobs all over NorCal and SoCal.  He can pool a crew as big as you need and really quick.

Daniils cell #  916-834-4712

He takes alot of pride in his work, I've worked with him since 03.

I wanted to ask anyone for information on sourcing a work crew on a per job basis.  With the economy and job flow the way it is it is difficult to handle a permanent crew.  I am looking to put a crew of 3 (a crew leader and two workers) for  crawl space and attic sealing and insulation job upcoming in a few weeks.  The work should last 5 to 8 days.  Any suggestions?

Hi George,

Build It Green is in the process of taking over administration of EUC in PGE territory.  In the meantime, you can still direct questions to CBPCA or send them to me/ post them & I will get answers to you.   Additionally, Jeffrey Liang is your local field representative, his email is:   jliang@ecoact.org
