Has anyone worked with this program?

An architect works with a rater and generates a set of documents with a projected rating that will meet the ENERGY STAR guidelines. The plans are reviewed by the EPA, and, if approved, are given an ENERGY STAR Label. The home is built according to the drawings and specs, and then verified, by a certified rater, to meet projected rating and the ENERGY STAR Guidelines.

What are your thoughts?

Even if you haven't worked with the program, yet, what do you think of it?

Nice post Chris, I love the idea behind the program, the catch is finding Architects interested in it. Th other catch at this moment is figuring out all the changes V3 is going to entail on this side of it which has temporarily pushed it now to the back burner for me

I see it as a great program for architects, especially if the clients are interested in LEED, Earth Craft & the rest as it has to be verified as meeting ES guidelines, what better time to start then while it is still on the drawing board.

Here is one of our write-ups I did on it back in August (HTRC Article)
