What is the purpose of these new certifications and why would I spend yet more money on obtaining yet another one? How do they improve my skill set, help me to better fix houses, and improve my bottom line?

I think this whole thing is a waste of money and any one spending money on it could just as well throw it out the front door. I have been doing energy audits for years and I have never been asked if I was BPI Auditor. I did take the class in 2010 what a waste of money I knew more then the instuctor. Don't give anymore of your money to these guys.
