BPI Group Members,

I'm putting the finishing touches on our Online Manual-J Training that begins on October 1st. We've been doing these trainings for the past couple of years in person. And, I'm really excited about being able to offer so many additional training resources and examples without the restraint of class-time!

Here are a list of some of the specific modules/scenarios that are already included in the training.

  • How to model sealed attic spaces (spray foam roof decks)
  • How to model sealed and/or conditioned crawlspaces
  • How to build a custom wall assembly (like a kneewall with foam board on the back)
  • How to enter blower door data in Wrightsoft
  • How to model duct leakage based off of an actual duct leakage test @ 25 pascals
  • How to model daylight basements
  • The top mistakes typically made when performing Manual-J's using Wrightsoft
  • How to import PDF drawings so you can trace the plans (huge time saver!)
  • How to model attached garages
  • How to input ERV's, HRV's, and other ventilation systems
  • How to model zones and/or multiple systems
  • How to "check-out" when you think you're finished
  • How to interpret the reports!

I'd like to know if you have any suggestions on other topics to add, based on what you're seeing the field. If there was ever something you wanted to know how to do in Wrightsoft, now's your chance to get it on the list!

Thanks for taking the time to give me some suggestions/feedback!

Isaac

Question, Did you need approval from Wrightsoft to demo their product?
