John Tooley of Advanced Energy Receives BPI's 2013 Tony Woods Award for Excellence in Advancing the Home Performance Industry

Joe Kuonen, Michael Blasnik and Rick Chitwood inducted into Building Performance Industry Hall of Fame 

Denver, Colorado, May 1, 2013 - Today the Building Performance Institute, Inc. (BPI) honored John Tooley of Advanced Energy by naming him the 2013 recipient of the Tony Woods Award for Excellence in Advancing the Home Performance Industry, at the Opening Plenary ceremony of the ACI National Home Performance Conference in Denver, Colorado.

Tooley was nominated by industry peers and selected by an independent panel of impartial judges for his integrity and commitment to quality assurance processes in home performance contracting.

After seeing this great presentation by John Tooley http://bit.ly/qualityTRUSTcultureTooley I think this award is really well deserved.  This guys is a thought leader. 

I also had the great luck to meet Rick Chitwood this winter - that guy is one of the fathers of Comprehensive Home Performance on the West Coast, and he creates Building Performance rock stars.  

When Mr. Tooley gave the keynote address in Austin a couple years ago, he really inspired me to do the right thing right. This is a well deserved award!
