Does BPI have a preferred Energy Modeling or Energy Analysis program (software)
Or does BPI strictly come from performance and testing base with no preference as to how to compile assessed data? Any BPI certified folks have any insight? I am curious since a lot of rating/ certification programs and well as incentive based programs require energy modeling of some type.

Hi Sean,
BPI has a standard - BPI-2400-S-2011 Standardized Qualification of Whole House Energy Savings Estimates, that outlines the process for the calculation of standardized estimated savings on a home performance job, however BPI doesn't specify what software to use, or approve software.
