By the way, this challenge will affect many more than 1000 households because an increment will fall short of meeting the challenge, nearly all attempts will influence people who become aware of just one of them, and untold numbers will be inspired to act when the 1000th to meet the challenge is verified and celebrated.

The announcement of the verification of #1000 will be a high point, not a conclusion.

I have just come in from a city councilmans based monthly "community meeting".This is not something I do regularly. The meeting was centered around local road improvements as well as other community concerns. My intent was to be there and veiw the interactions and get a feel for when it would be for a mention of community based retrofits.I handed a folder of 6 pages I downloaded that were highlighted points of other muninsable innacted programs.Bolder Co.Houston so on,and my states 10 fold increase in founds for weatherization and my local recipiant for these funds having no increase in workforce?I got a handshake and a appointment to sit down in person.I need more info to give him.I love a good challenge and I know we have more than 1000 local citizence living below poverty.Any feedback about funding community leaveraged group retrofit programs would be appriciated.I read that Fanny Mae has halterd the PACE program. Thanks, sorry about being long winded,Bill N

Hi Bill.  It's great to hear from you about your initiative.
