Although we would like to reach out to the entire Northeast area of those affected by Hurricane Sandy, it is simply too big of a geographic area. The magnitude of this storm and it's ensueing damage has had profound effects on everyone here in the Northeast. We at Green Buildng Designs (GBD) are offering free Energy Asessments to those victims here in Connecticut who will be rebuilding or remodeling as a result of Hurricane Sandy. The state of many homes will not allow a Comprehensive Home Assessment as water, mold, mildew and other causes will not allow blower door testing. GBD will offer a walk-through to help educate any homeowner in CT that will be working on their homes who wants to make it more sustainable, healthier and energy efficient, while keeping the contractors they have. I'm asking those on Home Energy Pros who understands the importance of Home Performance Contracting to please help me spread this effort to people within the state of Connecticut. I wish we could do more for those who have lost so much, but this is a start of what GBD can do. Thanks 203-296-2207 info@usgbd.com
