Proctoring position: The School for Energy Efficiency. Waterbury CT

Position: Contracted BPI Proctor for either written or field exams for a multitude of BPI certification trainings. All testing will be conducted under the Wesson Energy BPI Test Center also Known as The School for Energy Efficiency.



We are a BPI test center located in Waterbury, CT. We have a comprehensive training and testing facility with 20 workstation computer testing lab and an on-site test house allowing for flexibility in test scheduling. 

Currently we teach BPI Building Analyst, Envelope and Heat Pro certifications as well as several BA ENV Combo Classes and CEU classes as well as BPI’s Building Science Principals. To see what we are offering visit We are always looking to expand our offerings.


Work Scope:

Candidate will be solely responsible for providing all BPI required testing as required by BPI Proctoring and testing standards as outlined below in a timely fashion.


Qualifications / Requirements:

Any successful applicant for the Proctoring position at the School for Energy Efficiency must possess to the following:

  1. Must provide proof that they are a BPI proctor in good standing.

  2. Must be willing to travel to TSFEE training center in Waterbury CT. or other designated testing location.

  3. Must have, and keep, current BPI certifications in:

  • Building Analyst

  • Building Envelope Professional

  • Heat Pro

  • Multi Family

  1. Proctor must submit all billing to TSFEE promptly.

  2. Must actively participate in all BPI Proctor training and conference calls.

  3. Must coordinate testing dates with Trainer and other Proctors.

  4. Must adhere to all current BPI Proctoring procedures and ethics.

  5. Must promptly submit all scoring information to BPI within 24 hours of testing.

  6. Any computer equipment required for field testing data entry must be supplied by Proctor.

  7. Must have reliable transportation.


    TSFEE Supplies:

  1. All testing computers, written materials, Field test house and field testing equipment will be supplied by TSFEE.

  2. Video equipment and storage media will be supplied by TSFEE.

  3. Video files will be held by TSFEE for BPI quality control purposes.
