One person has suggested creating a group for people who administer programs, i.e., a place to have practical discussions about issues and techniques.  Sounds like a good idea.  Anyone can start a group, so hopefully they'll do that.

Hmm this does bring up an interesting point which I wish I would have thought of while doing the questionnaire. Right now there are 41 groups & 1 very open forum - most forums are composed of sub topics for specific issues & to make it easier for people to find info & post questions. Might there be a way to combine the two? This might make life a lot easier in the future as this site continues to grow.

For example the 9 largest groups in order are BPI, Best Practices, Marketing, Infrared, HVAC, Weatherization, Training, Multifamily & Ratings which is pretty close to where the bulk of the questions in the forum area are about. I don't know but maybe each group (that wants to) can become part of the forum allowing for anyone to post in the discussion areas & leaving the other sections closed to members. Shoot as the owner for one of those groups we could also help manage some of the threads as required to filter out the occasional spam postings. I would also say that some groups are looking for the privacy & they should be left that way - maybe even having a way for them to decline showing up on the main page.

Sean, we have the ability to set up categories in the Forum. As the community has grown, this may be the right time to do this. Please suggest categories that you'd like to see and we'll set them up. We can move discussions into categories, however, we cannot move content from the Forum to the Groups or vice versa.

I would say I listed the 9 most popular topics above, though I would change Ratings to either RESNET or RESNET Modeling & Ratings. You might want to check on the last part of your statement though as it should be doable & having duplicates like that would probably make things more confusing.
