Lead-safe retrofits
G.H. Runevitch, a master trainer associated with the Corporation for Ohio Appalachian Development (COAD), recently contributed an article, "Taking the Lead on Lead", to Home Energy magazine. His article details OSHA, HUD and EPA's Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting Program (RRP) rules, and includes links to other EPA, OSHA and HUD sites. GH has offered to answer questions here.

What is your definition of "Demolition" when doing a small remodel. I am removing a LBP trim around one side of a bedroom door. The trim only. If I re-use the trim do I have to follow the LBP and be a Certified Renavotor? Or if I pitch the LBP trim and use new in its place, does this alter anything?
