For the residential remodelers and designers in the room ...

Through February on daily5Remodel, we'll be featuring a different remodeled kitchen each day. To the extent possible, we'd love to feature kitchens that incorporate green/sustainable and energy-efficient principles, practices and products.

We'll hold an open vote at the end of the month, and the project with the most votes wins a $250 gift card from National Lumber.

Entering is simple:

Please email me no more than two before photos, no more than two after photos, and a brief explanation of how you solved your client's kitchen challenges while also creating a healthier, more environmentally sustainable space. Provide budget and product info if you like (not essential, but helpful to our pro-remodeler audience).

Thanks very much!

I suggest that submissions should include low or no VOC certifications on all cabinetry, glues, finnishes (paint and coating), and flooring used in the project.  As you stated, we need to focus on making improvements healthy for the occupants.
