Inventions that save energy, licensing to a US manufacturer?

We have an invention, patent and prototype and want to find someone to test and license it to a US manufacturer. It would cost effectively save energy in all buildings. We are also looking for other uses for the invention. Do you know how to proceed?

Briefly it makes blinds close and reflect the sun, when it is hot, and open when it is cool to let the sun's heat in, automatically, cost effectively, without electricity, for the life of the building. The temperatures of opening and closing can be adjusted and it works in a 2-3 degree temperature window. It can be used in windows, under roof decks to act as a radiant barrier in summer and open and let the heat in in winter, and in solar thermal collectors to prevent them from overheating, and in walls.......It allows the blinds to be also be opened and closed manually. It could work in military tent windows for passive solar heating….

Hi Craig,

Are you looking for someone to buy out your idea, or to manufacture and market it and give you a royalty kickback as they build the brand? I might know a guy that can show you the way to the latter.

If you don't mind me asking...why don't you just find a manufacturer yourself and start marketing it?

Craig, as your product progresses to market would you mind coming back and sharing it's info with us? Curious to see it in action.

Yes happily.

If these blinds are on the inside, a fair bit of the heat winds up indoors anyway. I used to have highly polished metal blinds inside my apartment in Vancouver (cool climate) and my apartment would still go over 110 degrees from one sliding door type window.

If they are on the outside they work super well.
