As you may have heard, Google+ (Google's equivalent to Facebook) recently merged with Google Places (it's local search product).  This represents a significant change in the world of online marketing, as local search and social media are coming much closer together.  For some good background and analysis, check out http://www.energycircle.com/blog/2012/06/20/what-home-performance-b....

What I'm curious about is how everyone is adjusting?  What has been your experience in making the switch?  Challenges?  New marketing opportunities?  Are home energy pros even using Google+?  Although not as widely used as Facebook, Google + still has over 90 million users, so there's got to be some value there!

For anyone who is interested, we put up a recorded webinar on Google + Local two weeks ago.  You can check it out at http://www.energycircle.com/pro.  Enjoy!
