EE programs SUCK - but it doesn't have to be this way - #oneknob

The numbers and reports keep coming in, residential EE programs from California to Massachusetts are terrible.

Work is often mediocre, recommendations are half assed and prescriptivesavings are grossly exaggerated.

Consumers are getting screwed on both sides of the equation. Programs are wasting huge amounts of public funds and not accomplishing much, and consumers are personally investing in their homes and not getting what the programs are promising.

Contractors are not happy about this:

It doesn't have to be this way. It just takes thinking a little differently. Creating incentives for the behaviors and outcomes we want instead of the ones we don't want. Recognizing and rewarding quality. Being accountable (a 4 letter word to bureaucrats, I know...) for results.

Enter "One Knob". A different way to implement residential home performance. Please check it out: http://bit.ly/GBAoneknobDetails
