Does anybody know of an adjustable CFL torchiere lamp with a dimmer switch (a built-in rheostat)? From what I can find on the net, all the CFL torchiere lamps only have 3 light settings. The lowest setting I can find is equal to a 100 watt incandescent bulb. I would like a lower setting for watching TV.
Any advice would be appreciated. I need to retire this old 300-watt halogen I have <ASAP>
Thanks

It is also possible to use the screw-in CFL of your choice in some torchiere lamps designed for incandescent bulbs, at least when the switch is on/off only.
