Home Energy magazine would like to include a list of great carbon calculators in an article we are working on. Does anyone know of a good carbon calculator that also accounts for renewable energy offsets? A better question may be: do these exist?

This might not be popular with some, but Garbage In = Garbage Out which equates to alot of the calculations & science used

The only carbon calculator that I'm aware of that is approved in Texas for reporting on carbon reductions was developed by Texas A&M's Energy Systems Laboratory.  It's called IC3, which stands for International Code Compliance Calculator.  It's free and you can learn about it at:
