BPI Announces Quality Assurance Field Inspection Standard

The Building Performance Institute, Inc. (BPI) is pleased to announce that its new Standard for Residential Building Quality Assurance Related to Post-Installation Field Inspections (BPI-6300-S-201x) is now available for public comment.

BPI-6300-S-201x, also known as the QA Field Inspection Standard, was developed by a working group created by BPI's Standards Technical Committee (STC) and comprised of subject matter experts representing a wide variety of interest categories and geographical locations. This standard includes protocols that provide clear guidance for third-party inspectors to confirm that home performance upgrade measures have been installed in accordance with the workscope and applicable standards.
