Anyone else notice that two Chicago airports were shut down yesterday? Anyone else read why? I might be new to the industry and still learning, however common sense tells me this could have been completely avoided. A single bathroom exhaust fan overheats, and then enters the domino effect. Thoughts? Read the story here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/05/14/chicago-airports-cancel-11...

Good find. Reminds me of the domino effect in the Breaking Bad episode with the distracted air traffic controller. Glad no one was hurt in Chicago.

This does a nice job of illustrating why our program's QA standards prohibit burying most bath exhaust fans in insulation, too. Going to pass this along!
