Hello,
I have a client interested in soy foam insulation. None of the insulators I have talked to have any experience with soy nor do they know anyone who uses it. I haven't researched it much yet but I thought I would throw out a discussion here. Anything pros and cons and experience with soy foam insulation would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Eric Timon

On the flip side I have heard of a few "still stinks issues" from other builders throughout the US which leads me to believe they either had a bad batch / wrong mix (some manufacturers tweek the mix based on climate & weather for better installs - whether Demilic or whomever does - you would have to check with them) or had a major installer error. The best thing I can say is to contact the manufacturer & talk to the area rep for not only who installs it, but that they would use for their own place.
