Building efficiency ratings are a great sales tool to encourage retrofits and market energy efficiency among owners and tenants. For residential homes there are three important criteria. Ratings must be simple and inexpensive, quantitatively accurate, and easy to for the layperson to understand.
CEE has developed a rigorous yet simple scoring tool to let residents know how well their home is performing compared to its full energy efficiency potential. Unlike many existing ratings, homes can achieve a perfect score if they complete all cost-effective measures for their home type. This webinar will review features of the residential energy score, its development, and early experience with pilots in Minneapolis and St Louis Park.
CEE staff Jenny Edwards and Carl Nelson will present.
The event is free, but you must register here.
